Welcome to Afri Finance. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before submitting a loan application through our website or otherwise engaging our services. By submitting an application, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. General
Afri Finance provides a digital platform to apply for, compare and receive loan offers from our lending partners. We act as a credit provider (Registered Credit Provider: NCRCP12178) and are subject to the National Credit Act and other applicable laws and regulations.
2. Loan Application and Assessment
All loan applications are subject to identity verification, affordability assessment and credit checks as required by law. Submission of an application does not guarantee approval. We reserve the right to accept or decline any application in our discretion based on our lending criteria.
3. Initiation Fees & Disbursement
Where an initiation fee is required, it will be clearly disclosed prior to drawdown. Initiation fees are payable as stated in the loan offer and must be paid in the manner indicated. In some circumstances the initiation fee must be paid prior to disbursement; if so, this will be clearly stated in the loan documentation.
Once all required documentation is submitted, verified and any required fees are paid, loan disbursement will be processed in accordance with the terms of the loan agreement. Disbursement timing will depend on verification and banking processes and may take up to the timeframe stated in your loan offer.
4. Repayment
Loan repayments are due in accordance with the repayment schedule in your loan agreement. Late payment may result in additional fees, penalties and negative credit reporting in line with applicable laws. Customers are encouraged to contact us immediately if they anticipate repayment difficulties.
5. Fraud and Misrepresentation
Providing false, fraudulent or misleading information is an offence. Afri Finance will reject any application where material misrepresentation is detected and may refer cases to the appropriate authorities.
6. Privacy and Data
Your personal information will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By submitting an application you consent to the collection and use of your personal information for the purposes of credit assessment, identity verification, fraud prevention and loan administration.
7. Fees, Charges and Statement of Account
All fees and charges applicable to a loan will be disclosed in your loan offer and agreement. You are responsible for reviewing the loan agreement, including interest rates, initiation fees and any other applicable charges before accepting the offer.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these terms from time to time. Any changes will be published on our website. Continued use of our services after publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts, unless otherwise required by law.
